Weddings

It would be an honor to share my passion with you and be given the opportunity to capture your wedding story.

As your wedding is unique, wedding packages are fully customizable.

All packages include full coverage of your wedding day (8-10 hours), a second photographer/assistant, online gallery of your images, high resolution digital files given with print release, and a complimentary engagement session.

I also offer special pricing for smaller weddings and events as well as Destination Weddings

What is your wedding photography style?

I have a photo journalistic style. Although some photos will be posed, most photos will be natural and spontaneous. I am there to capture your story, which means that my candid style will keep your wedding photos unique to your personality.

Do you offer payment plans/options?

We offer payment plans and options for wedding photography, requiring only a $500.00 deposit to book us for your wedding date. The remainder of the balance is broken up as is most convenient for you. The full balance is due one week before the wedding day.

Do you offer albums and other products such as prints?

Yes. Artistic prints can be ordered directly through Provoke. These prints are created in a professional lab to ensure that the quality and colors of the photographs are the very best.

The Provoke wedding albums as well as photo books are personally designed and ordered directly through us.

How long does it take to get our wedding photos and products?

You will receive an email with a link to your final wedding images 3-4 weeks after your event. You will be able to view/share and order prints and products at that time. If an album is chosen as part of your package, then you will be asked to choose the top 75  photos you would like included in your wedding album. Albums can take an additional 2-3 weeks. Albums are tailored to you and in most cases handmade and bound which is why extra time is required.

Why a second photographer?

A second photographer is a necessary ingredient to capturing every special moment. With two sets of eyes you can capture multiple angles of the same moment. Keep in mind that most photos will be candid and without a second photographer some moments may be missed (i.e. Different angles down the aisle, Bride and Groom reaction close-ups) Also one photographer cannot be in two places at the same time, so an extra eye is needed. As one photographs the Bride as she prepares for the wedding, another can be focusing on the Groom, or the wedding guests as they arrive. Overall, it provides a more complete record of your special day.

What is a “First Look?”

At some weddings, a Groom will see his Bride for the first time before the ceremony in what’s called a “First Look” moment. I recommend this for two reasons. The Grooms reaction as he sees his Bride in her dress is such a beautiful memory, and staging this moment rather than waiting until the ceremony can ensure we capture it in it’s entirity. Also, it allows for the photographer to get the Bride/Groom couple shots out of the way before the ceremony in a more private setting with no rush. After the ceremony the photographer can then focus on the wedding party and family shots as the second photographer travels ahead to capture the guests or cocktail hour.

I’m having a destination wedding. Do you travel?

Yup! I’m ready to go! A destination wedding package can be worked out just for you. Travel fees do apply and are dependent on location. So shoot me an email and we’ll talk!
